The St. Wenceslas Statue is located in the Wenceslas Square and is a huge and important symbol for the statehood of Czech Republic. Wenceslas mother tried her best to persuade him to change his religion. DShe tried to convert him to a pagan but it was impossible and during 924 to 925, he sent his mother out of the country.
Wenceslas took over politics and started ruling Bohemia at the age of 18. He was extremely capable and he took over the world of ruling, so impressively, that he was nothing less than a threat to a lot of people. The Saxon Duke threatened Wenceslas several times as he wanted the territory to become independent.
